 This some technical skill that I face.

Difficulty in using the tripod. At first day of recording, I was struggle on how to use tripod properly when putting the camera into the tripod. 

Actor/Performer Screen test

 This is actor / performer screen test

For star, we still looking for 2nd star to act more relax than the 1st star. 2nd star role is to act more relax and during night time showing less relax side of himself so the audience know how much he wanting that girl that he talking about. 1st star role would act less relax, be more expressive for all day long (day to night time). We have decide who will be the first star that is my self (Dhera). In my opinion, I think I can fulfil that role because in the latest mini project which is the "I want it that way" from Backstreet Boys I dance and get splash by water.

Reflection

I record my self for practice lipsync, the video start from verse part until 1st reff part. Verse part was easy enough because the music sound is still chill compare to reff part there is high pitch tone to sing and it's quite fast to lipsync it.

Storyboard

 This is our group storyboard done it by Sanjaya. 

Reflection

Sanjaya did the storyboard in simple way because the action need to take is similar and sometime there will be suddenly change during record base on weather or availability of the member (cast, cameraman).  My hope with this project everything can get be done and the result is satisfying base on our expectation.

Brief

 Our teacher tell us to do music video. My group choose Time Alone - Jacob Collier.

Relection:

For this project, it's little bit complex because song choice that my group pick is like 5 minutes long. 2 stars act need to be expressive and lip sync need to be precise. 

Smartphone role on January 6

Significance of Smartphone in the January 6th Capitol Riots

The riots use smartphone to spread the information to gather protestor during the events. They post it to social media like twitter on what's happening. According to The New York Times website, there were 100,000 location pings for thousands of smartphones, revealing around 130 devices inside the Capitol exactly when Trump supporters were storming the buildings. About 40% of the phone track near rally stage on the National Mall during the speeches. On social media sites uses by the far-right, such as Gab and Parler, directions on which street to take to avoid the police which tools to bring to help pry open doors were exchanged in comments. 

Moodboard

 This our group moodboard.

Reflection: Combination with 2 different colours orange and black which give different mood. Orange colour look more warm which indicate chill vibe and black look dark which give sense of struggle. Our group did it messy, we put random the picture randomly because when we listen to the song it's groovy. Groovy song often crowded like responding each other answer.  

Development

This is our concept idea for music video project with the location where we plan to film. 

Outfit:

- Soft colour outfit (2nd star) stay the same all day.

- More colourful outfit (1st star) would change. - Dhera

During intro part when only the keyboard sound we have 8 shots before 1st verse start. 

Set in 2 different time on day time and night time. In the day time 2 star would be more relax but for the 1st star would be more excited when he sing the higher pitch tone. During night time, 2nd star show less relax side on the lyric:

Possible location to film:

- Lapangan renon (night time)

- Beach (day time) 

- School for indoor at chill out and outdoor at field area

Due to rainy season, we have an alternative to record it would be indoor for both day and night time. For indoor might be in school.

Reflection

I took this pictures around 8 p.m. Our plan when it's night time, we want to record it at Renon park (lapangan renon). There are 2 pictures of an ideas (I might add more) of which spot we want to record it (whether it going to be sitting down or standing up). Background for 2nd picture is crowded, there are lot of vehicles passing by and solution for this case would be picture 1 or finding place to seat on the different side. Problem might be the lighting because our phones camera wouldn't be good as camera. We might bring extra lighting like flashlight or use my handycam if the video quality good. Other ways we can record it, in case if it's rain is to bring an umbrella. 

Location Assessment Lapangan Renon

Purpose of the shoot

Our purpose to shoot it during night time at lapangan renon is to get different vibe and it's more open (public place). Start from the lyric "all night, star bright".

Media language

Dark lighting which represent emptiness. Find clean area, it would give better atmosphere.

Pros

There are plenty of spot that can be use to record.

Cons 

Place is to crowded and probably not an effective place to record because it's a public place so that everyone (visitor) can come inside and accidentally visitor also get caught by the camera which is kind of distracting.

Risk Assessment

Potential Hazards	It’s a little dark so smaller objects may cause problems in the future. Many tripping hazards on the ground. Earthquakes  Rain maybe a problem for equipment
Risk Evaluation	Objects hidden because of the minimal lighting. Fallen branches, rocks or leaves that may cause one of the actors to fall and injure themselves during filming. We live in the ring of fire. There's not much to explain as there isn’t much to do but hope it doesn’t happen during filming. As we live in a tropical area, rain may be a problem with the equipment in the future. The weather is too unpredictable.
Control Measures and Risk Mitigation	Bring a big light or clean the area before starting the filming. Tripping hazards are everywhere so the best way to deal with it is to just clean the area. Earthquakes are unpredictable so the best thing to do is learn some proper protocols before filming. Rain in the tropical areas of the world is quite unpredictable so we will bring equipment for the actors and the camera.

Reflection 

There are 2 possible main place to shoot in school (chill out and field). First my plan is to record it at chill out when day time and then move to field area in night time or it might be in one place for whole song or the opposite way. In chill out, take more effort to do it because need to re arrange the table, finding sweet spot to record it probably in-front of curtain or wall, if wall that the background would be plain and curtain might be close it at first to give sense of more into individual (introvert), calm, not much interaction then curtain open it by star 1 to show excitement "it's a beautiful Sunday morning" lyric. In field area give more freedom to record compare chill out especially when some part of the scene need to act more rebel like throwing things. Specific spot would be near the pool (at back of basketball court) might be standing up or bring bing bang there when filming. School as 2nd alternatives because other places such as beach and park would be more crowded and I think it's not effective when filming there, need to find quite spot. Also friends, maybe we live like very far from that location so to save the time we plan it at school.

Location Assessment Chill out & Field area 

Purpose of the shoot

First we are going to shoot it at chill out first and then move to field area. Chill out to give sense of calmness for both actor even one actor (Dhera) is less relax (more excited) compare to the actor 1. Moving to field area is at night time with showing more excitement for both actor. Overall, moving different location can affect both actor personality when expressing themselves.  

Media language

To represent sense of calmness, curtain in chill out is helpful especially when it being close. There a scene where the curtain need to be open and close to give different feeling. Lighting at chill out is should be not bright (we might not turning on the lamp all) no extra lighting from outside like in picture 1 and 2. Dark lighting we need it especially when night time.

Pros

Easy access to film and it not crowded compare to in Renon for Chill out and field area. In more specific, light in chill out room is not to bright which is good to give warm tone to our music video. Field area is outdoor and when filming at night it's not crowded, it's more open with a nice background (view). 

Cons 

For both area (Chill out and Field) we need to find good spot to film it, making sure that the other area is not being recorded. Like in field area there a construction, making sure that it's not recorded because in my opinion it just doesn't look good (distracting). Also chill out, there is no much freedom when recording because some scene one actor (Dhera) need to act rebel like throwing things. Need to be careful, that no property are damage.

Risk Evaluation

• Faulty chairs or tables or any other items in the Chill Out area may hurt the actors or actresses.

• Small rocks and debris may cause damage to equipment and actors and actresses.

• We live in the ring of fire and tectonic shifts may cause an earthquake.

Control Measures and Risk Mitigation

• Search in the vicinity for chairs that are not damaged and check the chairs before usage.

• Searching for a cleaner area in the filming location to lower the risk.

• Learn some earthquake precautions before starting filming just in case.

Reflection Location Assessment + Risk Assessment 

By doing this, it help to give an alternative for location. Just in case, plan A doesn't work then we have plan B. With risk assessment help us to raise awareness to surrounding environment, be more prepare when something happen accidentally like earthquake or any property damage.
